New Realme Q series officially arriving on September 5

Realme is having an event in China to introduce its new Q series. The announcement was made on Weibo by the company CMO Xu Qi Chase, who said four new products will be announced. This might sound like four Realme Q smartphones, but in reality we expect the Realme 5, Realme 5 Pro, Realme XT and Realme Q1 on stage. The post on Weibo does not say much about the specs of the phone. We should see another device with four cameras on the back, since the company’s Weibo profile is all about the “four-cam era”. One assumption that could be made is a device with the same design on the back -… Read more:

Check out the latest Google Pixel 4 renders

Earlier this month, the latest renders of the Google Pixel 4 were spotted. Of course, Google had taken some of the mystery out of the phone the previous month when it surprised everyone by tweeting an actual photo of the device. Today, @iGeeks published a series of fresh renders once again revealing the square camera module located on the upper left corner of the back. The Pixel 4 will have a pair of cameras in that housing, most likely a 12MP primary and a 16MP telephoto. There will be a ‘spectral sensor’ for better low-light photos and an improved bokeh effect on portraits. The new Pixels … Read more:

For Apollo 11’s moon landing anniversary, the Washington Monument was made to look like a rocket

WASHINGTON — The Washington Monument just got even more iconic. On Tuesday, the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 launch, the 555-foot national symbol lit up with an image of the moon-bound shuttle blasting into space. The 363-foot projection of the Saturn V rocket will appear for two hours every night during the anniversary of the mission that put the first two humans — both Americans — on the moon. On Friday and Saturday, the celebration of this historical milestone will culminate in a 17-minute light show taking viewers back to July 16, 1969 when Apollo 11 made its giant leap for mankind from Florida’s Kennedy Space Center. And yes, that is a 40-foot-wide re-creation of the famous Kennedy Space Center countdown …

That’s a little odd, though, given… Read more:

Lenovo Z6 Pro 5G Edition goes official

Lenovo unveiled the Z6 Pro back in April this year, and now at the ongoing Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Shanghai, the company has announced its 5G Edition. The Lenovo Z6 Pro 5G Edition has the same hardware as its non-5G variant, except that it also comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X50 modem to enable 5G connectivity. Design-wise, the only difference between the Z6 Pro and the Z6 Pro 5G is that the latter comes with a transparent back, but it’s unclear if the back is actually transparent or if it has an illustrative sticker like the Xiaomi Mi 8 Explorer. Pricing and… Read more:
