Fresh home with a vintage touch

Even though this place has a slightly more classic look then the interiors that I usually pick out to write about on this blog, I love the vibe of this living room with adjacent kitchen so much. The dining room has a great combo of vintage chairs and the climber plants by the window have such a fresh effect on this look.  The grey kitchen with the brass handles looks very pretty as well and I like the rails for pots and pans a lot in this space. via Entrance Makleri The post Fresh home with a vintage touch appeared first on COCO LAPINE DESIGN. The Roundish Chair Blurs the Line Between Home and Work

As the intersection of home and work grows increasingly tighter, designers are being called to respond to a new way of living. At Salone del Mobile, Japanese furniture manufacturer Maruni and designer Naoto Fukasawa presented a new chair concept – The Roundish Chair – focused on the limitless possibilities of space and furniture. Fukasawa commented, “The uses and applications of spaces are no longer strictly defined. There are also no more divisions between different categories of furniture, like between office and dining room chairs or between different types of sofas. This is because our modern era requires high-quality spaces and furniture that fits into our various lifestyles. We have created a booth that responds perfectly to the needs and trends of …

Neutral decor combined with curved windows

I obviously like the historic details in this beautiful home and those curved windows add just so much character to this interior. When you have such great features in your home, I think it will look even better combined with neutral interior objects. The color palette of this living and dining room is mainly grey, with the exception of the sheep skins in the living room and the wood of the flooring and series 7 chairs* in the kitchen dining space. I love that their is even a little seating nook in the kitchen window, this looks so great and I think it’s the perfect spot to soak up some spring sun. White living room with great details

This living room is al white, including the floors and is the perfect canvas for a great interior styling. The room was styled in a modest, subtile yet warm vibe which has been made more fresh with the large plants by the window.  The large fluffy area rug combined with the fabric sofa makes for a cozy textile mix and the black leather armchair and the black Menu sofa tables* add great accents to all the white. The art wall is pretty impressive too and makes the high ceilings look even more impressive. A perfectly balanced living room, styled to perfection if you ask me. Well first of all, it’s just cool, and second of all, being surrounded by smart devices makes life infinitely easier. The only downside is that once you reach a certain number, these devices can be hard to keep track of and control — and that’s why you need a central hub.
