1 Mom’s Hilarious Note to Huggies Shows It Might Not Have Thought Its Toy Story 4 Design Through

Emilee Webber, a mom with a good sense of humor, recently pointed out a small issue with Huggies’ Pull-Ups that will have moms and dads rolling. In a now-viral Facebook post, she explained how putting Woody from Toy Story 4 on the front may not have been the wisest choice. She wrote: “Dear Huggies, I completely understand that your new addition of toy story designs are in conjunction with the release of Toy Story 4. It’s an excellent marketing ploy because, I mean seriously, what 2-3-year-old boy doesn’t love Toy Story? However, as a mom, I’ll say this, foresight would’ve been wonderful. I’m writing this as my 2-year-old is patting the front of his pants saying, ‘I love my Woody’ …

OMG, This Hatching Toothless Is Just Like a Hatchimal, but How to Train Your Dragon-Style

Hatchimals have a new cousin, so to speak. Announced at 2019’s Toy Fair, Spin Master shared that they’ll be releasing a How to Train Your Dragon Hatching Toothless ($60), which hatches just like the Hatchimals your kids have grown to love, but with a bit of dragon flair. Rather than rub and cuddle the egg to coax it to hatch, Toothless’s egg needs to be aggravated. Once bothered enough, Toothless, with his light-up mouth and pumping wings, will come alive inside his egg, hatch, and be ready to play. Kids ages 5 and up can play games with him like “Ask Toothless,” Hot Potato, and “Toothless Says,” and he can be taught how to dive-bomb and plasma blast, just like …

Lots of French press discussion lately.

In light of this, I would like to start a brief discussion. Those of you that use a French press regularly, why? Do you prefer the body or is it a taste preference? Do you feel like the oils drown out the coffee notes at all? Those of you that don’t use a French press, why not? Is it the less oils of a paper filter? Taste difference? Why do you prefer not using a French press? This sort of stems from my own experimentation. I love both v60 and Hoffman method French press. I legitimately can not decide which I prefer. They’re just, different. Been quite the dilemma lately as I have been trying to decide on my “favorite” …

The U.S. Government Has Found a Devious Way to Hire More Bureaucrats

These salaries are underwritten by the $235 billion the federal government lays out to nonprofits each year. To constrain the growth of central government, conservatives have fought to keep down the number of federal bureaucrats. This strategy has failed.Since the 1960s, the number of federal employees has remained constant at about 2 million, yet federal power has greatly expanded. This phenomenon arises because Washington has outsourced many civil service functions to contractors, nonprofit groups, and lower levels of government.According to New York University professor Paul Light, the true size of the federal government’s “blended workforce” is now somewhere between 7 million and 9 million people. The biggest portion of the blended federal workforce consists of federal contractors. Today, there are about 3.7 million …

Head in the clouds on the Isle of Man

Perched on one of the highest peaks on the island this amazing eco-home is a birder’s paradise In 2012, Peter and Carole Lillywhite visited the Isle of Man for the first time. Three days into their visit, they had an offer accepted on a small, 19th-century cottage on Sartfell in the west of the island. The derelict cottage – the third highest on the island – sits alone on the brow of a hill and is known locally as Cloud Nine. “The cottage wasn’t really fit for 20th-century living, never mind 21st,” recalls Peter, a retired management consultant with a background in scientific research. The couple, who are both in their 60s, appointed the architect Will Foster to design a …

For Apollo 11’s moon landing anniversary, the Washington Monument was made to look like a rocket

WASHINGTON — The Washington Monument just got even more iconic. On Tuesday, the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 launch, the 555-foot national symbol lit up with an image of the moon-bound shuttle blasting into space. The 363-foot projection of the Saturn V rocket will appear for two hours every night during the anniversary of the mission that put the first two humans — both Americans — on the moon. On Friday and Saturday, the celebration of this historical milestone will culminate in a 17-minute light show taking viewers back to July 16, 1969 when Apollo 11 made its giant leap for mankind from Florida’s Kennedy Space Center. And yes, that is a 40-foot-wide re-creation of the famous Kennedy Space Center countdown …

Tesla’s new safety report paints Autopilot in a good light, but it’s not that simple

Tesla’s new Vehicle Safety Report is out, and things are looking good for the electric car maker, especially its Autopilot set of self-driving features.  Tesla’s accident data for the first quarter of 2019 shows that there was one accident for every 2.87 million miles driven in which drivers had Autopilot engaged. For drivers that had Tesla’s active safety features turned on, but not Autopilot, the company registered one accident for every 1.76 million miles driven. ‘Sky: Children of the Light’, the spiritual successor to ‘Journey’, makes you believe in a better world

Thatgamecompany co-founder Jenonva Chen, the mind behind wildly acclaimed titles like Journey and Flower, designs games with one simple but seemingly impossible goal: to create virtual worlds where people are nice to each other. In 2012, the monolithic Journey achieved that seemingly impossible task. The minimalist online game stripped players of all identity, rendering each an identical, anonymous robed figure without a name or any ability to communicate aside from chirps.  By doing away with all the typical conventions of a multiplayer game (voice chat, competitiveness, usernames), Journey left the strangers it paired together with no other option than to cooperate on their adventure through its gorgeous and mysterious world. Famously, one other form of interaction became common practice among …

La Roche Posay Anthelios XL SPF 50 Ultra Light Tinted Fluid Review

After moving to Australia, I realized how strong the sun can be! You need to change your sunscreen according to the place you are at. I have a school friend who is a dermatologist and she highly recommended La Roche Posay to me. I personally have used a lot of products from this particular brand but then have never tried a sunscreen from them yet. La Roche Posay Anthelios XL SPF 50 Ultra Light Tinted Fluid seemed nice as I barely have any tinted creams. There is also a regular version of this sunscreen whose review you can check out on IMBB here. Read more: makeupandbeauty.com
